Event in Aosta Valley: Courmayeur, Saveurs en musique

Saveur En Musique, meaning “flavour with music”, is a food festival of local produce accompanied with music in some of the most beautiful areas of Val d’Aosta, celebrating flavours, traditions, gastronomy and music typical of Val d’Aosta.

Three dinners are programmed for September, all prepared by restaurants belonging to the association “Saveurs du Val d’Aoste”; the brand which distinguishes Val d’Aosta produce for its quality.  A selection of some of the most renowned regional wines accompany the meals along with music and readings selected for the occasion. 

To start the festival off on 4 September at Courmayeur is a dinner of a selection of game, accompanied with operatic arias.  The festival then moves on to Aosta, where on the 11 September, a dinner based on local chestnuts accompanied with music from songwriters is held.  On the 18 September, the festival moves to Cogne with a menu based on local vegetables accompanied with local music.
