Stress-free Parking on the Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast is famous for the gorgeous views along the mountainous coastline dropping dramatically down to the Mediterranean Sea. It’s also considered one of the world’s most beautiful drives.

However, anyone who has ever driven the Amalfi Coast drive and tried to park knows the other thing the Amalfi Coast is famous for – impossible parking.

This spring, parking in Amalfi just got a lot less stressful with the opening of the Luna Rossa parking garage. This new four level garage has been excavated out of the mountainside between Amalfi and the neighbouring village of Atrani, which has been an engineering project five years in the making. The Luna Rossa garage offers 204 parking spaces for cars and 30 motorcycle spaces.

This impressive public works project brings a much needed relief to travellers driving on the Amalfi Coast, especially those visiting one of the coastline’s most popular destinations.

Parking in the Luna Rossa garage costs €3.00 per hour and the garage is located on the Amalfi Coast road just east of Amalfi.
