Event in Friuli-Venice Giulia: Trieste, Mirò. The Poet of Colour

Taking place in the stables of the Castello Miramare di Trieste, is an exhibition of over seventy works by the Catalan artist, Mirò.

Artistic techniques including lithography, pochoir and etching feature in Mirò works, depicting the styles by this polyhedral artist who also produces illustrations but is more popularly known as a painter. 

In his paintings, as with his illustrations, the typical reds, blues and yellows of his palettes are frequent, with fantastical ideograms of his artistic styles, an alphabet created exclusively by styles and colours which link him with the great artistic maestros Picasso, Braque, Chagall and Matisse.
