Trieste hosts Open Door. Theatres at the Theatre until 26 september.

The summer theatre festival is back, where all the main theatres and musical institutes of Trieste take part. 

A series of shows, jazz and pop concerts and opera take place in some of the artistic and cultural city’s most attractive areas.  Following shows held in the Duino and Muggia castles and also some shows and performances in Slovenian territory, in September all performances are held at the Sala del Trono del Castello di Miramare; the symbol of Trieste. 

On 25 September, a performance by Treiste Flute Ensemble from the town academy of music will take place, followed by a guitar concert on 26 September and a harp concert playing pieces by Ibert, Dussek and Hasselmans.
