In Friuli Venezia Giulia Golf Nature and Outdoors Sport and Adventure
The region of Fruili Venezia Giulia also caters for golf lovers, with seven 18-hole golf courses located within easy access to each other, thanks to excellent road routes boasting a variety of natural landscape.

The Three Borders
Golf Country Club Tarvisio (www.golftarvisio.com) is situated on the border between Italy, Austria and Slovenia. Open from April – October, the club offers a relaxing course, with some hazards owing to the slops and bunkers, surrounded by forests of beech and larch and the rocky slopes of mount Mangart.

How to Get There
From Udine: take the A23 until the last exit and then follow the signs of Tarvisio centro and follow directions.
From Austria: take the B83 and follow directions for A2 I. Once over the border into Italy, take the A23.
From Slovenia: from Kraniska Gora travel towards Tarvisio. From Bovec take the Passo del Predil and then follow directions for Tarvisio.

The Hillsides of Fruili 
Golf Club Udine (www.golfudine.com) is situated in Fagagna, at just 18km from Udine, enjoying the backdrop of the hillsides rich in secular oaks, beeches and wild cherry. The trail of the course is a 72 par without other hazards for over 6km. Nearby, you can visit the town of Gemona, with its medieval duomo, Venzone, and also the towns of Udine and the ancient Lombard city of Cividale.

How to Get There
Follow the A4 motorway until the Udine Sud exit, and follow the by-pass until the Fiera-Martignacco-Spilimbergo exit, and continue for Fagagna. Follow the signs for Majano-San Daniele and take the panoramic route for San Daniele; the course is situated at 100m on the right.
From Tarvisio: take the motorway A23 until the Gemona-Osoppo exit and follow signs for Buia-Majano-Fagagna.

Golf in the Park
Golf Club Castel d’Aviano (www.golfclubcasteldaviano.it) in Pordenone, is situated at the foothills of ski resort Piancavallo, and is a Par 72 and is developed over an area of 5980m long, with hazardous dog-legs and hilly greens. The course is situated within the natural park of the 16th century Villa Policreti, now transformed into an elegant hotel.

How To Get There
Take the A4 motorway until the Pordenone exit. From the centre of Pordenone, enter the Via Montereale road (Ospedale Civile direction) and carry straight on and follow the signs for Budoia for approx. 8km, once past the American Military base of Aviano, turn right and continue for 2km; the golf course is situated on the right.
