Love of Italy
Born right in the middle of America, Laura has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Italy. She studied Liberal Arts and Art History, with a focus on Italian architecture in the 18th and 19th centuries. During graduate school, Laura visited the Amalfi Coast for the first time and knew immediately that life would never be the same again.
This trip awoke a great many passions, including a love for travel writing and sharing her enthusiasm for the Amalfi Coast with others. After completing a Masters degree focusing on the exquisite facade of Duomo of Amalfi, Laura settled on the Amalfi Coast where she is now a fulltime freelance writer, amateur gardener, and enthusiastic learner of the local cuisine and the Italian language.
An avid hiker and explorer, she is forever out walking the cobbled streets and climbing the ancient steps along the Amalfi Coast. She cannot resist an unexplored staircase or pathway, and never goes out the door without a notebook and camera tucked into her bag. Every step of the way, Laura loves capturing the beauty, history and allure of the Amalfi Coast in words and photographs.
