From 12 – 17 April 2011, Milan hosts the 50th Salone del Mobile (International Home Show) which has now become on class event for the home furnishing sector and lovers.

In 2010 the International Home Show at Milan attracted over 300,000 visitors, half of which from abroad, with over 300 exhibitors making it a top-class event for the Italian sector and also one of the main events on an international level.

Six days dedicated to home furnishings throughout the house, from bedrooms to living rooms with all types of furniture, from wardrobes, tables and chairs and garden furniture. The show is a unique occasion attracting the home furnishing sector and also enthusiasts.

The show is open to the public on Sunday April 17, where visitors can discover all the latest home furnishing trends.

Along with the International Home Show, Milan also hosts the Salone del Complemento d'Arredo, Euroluce – an international show with displays of brands of home lighting - , Eurocucina (Kitchen show), Salone Ufficio (Office), the International Bathroom show and Sasmil – the International show of Home Accessories. During the diverse home shows Milan also hosts a number of events dedicated to the design and home furnishing sector.
