The Palazzo Reale in Milan will host a significant exhibition of The Great Impressionists from 1 March - 31 May 2011, featuring works from Monet, Renoir, Gauguin e Degas.

Works-of-art from great painters are once again exhibited in Milan, celebrating French impressionists at the Palazzo Reale: The Great Impressionists.

For the first time in Italy, the exhibition features over seventy works coming from the Sterling & Francine Clark Art Institute of Williamstown, Massachusetts. The works are from a collection which was created by art collector and businessman Robert Sterling Clark and his wife Francine, who dedicated over 30 years to the collection of works by late nineteenth century French artists.

Among the works exhibited are also portraits by Manet, Monet, Renoir, Degas, Gauguin and Pissarro.
