Around every corner there is yet another wonderful panorama.
The region boasts an incredible array of fine wines, from robust Barolo to sweet Moscato, from velvety Barbaresco to crisp floral Arneis, whilst gastronomic delights include tangy cheeses, crunchy hazelnuts and aromatic white truffles. Wine towns, include Barbaresco and Barolo whose Enoteca's (wine tasting shops) are well worth a visit, these towns also make ideal lunch stops. Not to be missed is Alba with its towers, cobbled streets and great Saturday market.
