Laura Lavorato

Biography

Laura Lavorato was born in Cosenza, Calabria in 1979. With a degree in law from Florence, she specialised in international relations concentrating on North Africa and the Middle East.

After many years spent in Tuscany, she has lived and work in Spain, France and Morocco.

Experience

Laura Lavorato is not a tourist guide, more of an insatiable traveller. Her uncontrollable curiosity has driven her to accumulate stories and information about travel that she now wants to share, and to this end, has begun to contribute to various online tourist guides.

Her passion for travel has over the years changed her professional life. Whether work or pleasure Laura is an enthusiastic traveller who loves to penetrate the socio-political reality and culture of the places she visits, with a tendency to live every moment as one that is unique.

Apart from the years spent living in Italy and abroad, she continues to feel part of the place from where the chilli peppers and the olive trees grow. Confident that travel is the spice of life, she loves the discovery that travel brings but she also loves to return home. And 'home' for Laura continues to be, and will always be, Calabria.

Hers is a world of colour, with a touch of eclecticism. She likes to mix travel with her other great passions: music, literature, languages, graphic design and cooking, as well as combining musical interests and photography. She is trying to learn Arabic and improve her German and she is always eagerly waiting for the next trip.
