Tonya Puleo

Tonya Puleo is a time-worn traveller attracted by all that is different to her own life. Filling her corners of spare time with thoughts of travel, she takes advantage of every opportunity that knocks and is always ready to pack her bags in pursuit of new adventure. Recently returned from Morocco, she doubts she can ever forget the bus trip to Marrakesh with a sheep on board.
Born in the 'land of the Trinacria', Sicily's alternative name and symbol, an island of beauty and contrast, Tonya helps organise local events and collaborates with several Palermo magazines. She loves her home in the historic centre of Palermo, Sicily's capital, where she can enjoy friends' company and indulge her passion for buying books and comics.
Tonya has studied foreign languages and literature, giving her a great entrée into other worlds as well as assisting in talking with travellers and foreigners. Always happy to interact, her combined study and experience have given Tonya a real appreciation for that important word - 'communication'!
